okay so leah's gone. only 17 and she actually has a GREAT voice except that people tend to forget about that. which happens to be the main thing you need to have. well well...john's a classic and jon's the darkhorse of the competition. "the best top 12 ever". and clay gave a guest performance back. whoot.

had a wonderful day today with my 401 clique laughing and talking at 4000 decibels in orchard. haha. we totally owned the place. well...it started off at marche for lunch. i was an hour late (but that can be overlooked:)!). we had a piling competition...hahaha and strategically stationed ourselves in front of the vegie baskets to observe the .. candidates. first prize went to this guy who piled watercrest and second to this caucasian girl (probably a tourist..she was carrying a huge backpack) who piled cauliflowers and broccolis.
then aimless us walked ovetr to cine and had gelato..to sembawang music where i bought a new cd..em piano songs..ithink thats what its called. AHA. then we spotted her. the second prize vegie-piling winner. and we burst into laughter in the middle of the lobby. up to the cinema level...we were intending to watch some movie but couldnot decide on one that everyone agreed to watch. so.....we ended up spotting differences on the photo hunt thing at ezone..and then playing some photo memory thing where you have a few seconds to look at a photo and they'll ask some question about it. hahaha. we totally ruled that machine. its got our top score and name --40103RGS written all over its scoreboard. HAHAHA. yeah. so basically we got bored of beating our own scores..and spent the next hour deciding whether we wanted nachos or popcorn. after much deliberation, we finally settled for thenachos. on the big couch. with mothervan on the high chair. and then...next up wasdinner. i ask myself what i actually did today apart from laugh..and i get the answer that we spent more than half the time we had EATING. gosh.

ahhh and now its time for american idol on channel five! =) goodbiyes! a bientot!

well hello here i am again. i just whipped up some great 3 course meal for myself, salad main and dessert. prep was no joke. i spent more than 20 minutes trying to whip the whippee cream not realising that that was the biggest volume it could get to. and then i got my hand scalded by the baking tin that was fresh from the oven (what an idiot). i also got my fish (dory by the way) stuck to the non-stick pan and got my shirt splattered with oil because i wasn't wearing an apron. and all that for what? 15 minutes of indulgence in the finest food in the whole of france..okay okay yeah right. but the biggest irony was that the dessert which took me the longest to make disappeared the fastest. hee hee. ilove it...oeuf en meurette. something gerald taught us last year for french cooking class. i miss it...I MISS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH LAST YEAR!! except for the o'levels. and if i haven't told you before, he sold his restaurant monaco to his employees for a grand total of......one dollar.

anyway, i got a letter from carol today. she said she visited the ancient egyptian art exhibition from the louvre over at taiwan. mmMm..sounds interesting. and the fact that there were MUMMIES. MMM. well, speaking of that...one of these days...i really really should visit the louvre musuem...and then wander through the saint honorais...oh how lovely...

all apricots reserve their right to be eaten
all peaches plead to be savoured
and the apricots and peaches agree that together, they make the perfect dessert
and indeed, they did.
